KINGSPORT, Tenn., Dec. 13, 2010 - Eastman Chemical Company is increasing prices on the following products effective Jan. 1, or as contracts allow. These increases are due to increased market demand and operating costs, particularly in raw materials, energy and freight.

EASTMAN 2-Ethylhexanol : Off-list price increase of $US 0.08 /lb ($US 0.08/lb ($US 0.176/kg) ) in North America and Latin America.

EASTMAN 2-Ethylhexanoic Acid : Off-list price increase of $US 0.08 /lb ($US 0.08/lb ($US 0.176/kg) ) in North America and Latin America.

EASTMAN n-Butyl Alcohol : Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) in North America and Latin America.

EASTMAN Isobutyl Alcohol : Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) in North America and Latin America.

EASTMAN Propionic Acid, All Grades : Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) in North America and Latin America.

EASTMAN n-Butyraldehyde, All Grades : Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) in North America.

EASTMAN Isobutyraldehyde, All Grades : Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) in North America.

EASTMAN 2-Ethylhexaldehyde : Off-list price increase of $US 0.05 /lb ($US 0.05/lb ($US 0.11/kg) ) in North America.
