Munich -- Wacker, the Munich-based chemical company, continues to consolidate and optimize its distribution network for VINNAPAS® dispersible polymer powders to improve efficiency and to create crossregional synergies. quantiQ takes over the distribution of Wackers dispersible polymer powders business for construction applications in Brazil.

quantiQ already distributes selected Wacker products, such as silicones and vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer dispersions, for several market segments. For the construction industry, quantiQ will distribute VINNAPAS® dispersions and dispersible polymer powders as well as SILRES® BS silicone resins. Supplying more than 700 products from chemical specialties to commodities in 52 industrial market segments, quantiQ is the largest distributor of chemical and petrochemical products in Brazil.

VINNAPAS® dispersible polymer powders are used mainly in diverse construction chemical applications such as exterior insulation and finish systems, construction and tile adhesives, screeds, self-leveling flooring compounds, plasters, repair mortars, grouts and cementitious sealing slurries. They enhance important end-product properties, such as adhesion, cohesion, flexibility and flexural strength. Water retention, processing properties and weatherability benefit from VINNAPAS®, too. SILRES® BS products are innovative, environmentally-compatible raw materials for the production of water-repellent masonry coatings, construction chemicals and materials.
