BorsodChem and Wanhua recently joined forces in Moscow to exhibit at the Polyurethanex International Exhibition on Polyurethane Technologies and Materials. Russia represents an important growth market for the polyurethane industry and the trade fair presented an excellent opportunity for BorsodChem and Wanhua to showcase the strength of their new partnership.

Wanhua Industrial Group is the worlds fastest growing producer and marketer of polyurethane raw materials and related products. Its partnership with BorsodChem, which was formalisedearly this year created the third largest isocyanate producer in the world by turning both companies from two regional players into one global company.

It was the first time BorsodChem and Wanhua had exhibited together and they marked the occasion by creating a special booth with a strong focus on the important contribution of the new Company to modern life through their involvement in various market sectors. BorsodChem and Wanhua were pleased to welcome many visitors to the booth who were very interested in and excited about the benefits of the global partnership. The fair was concluded with a very successful customer event.

The 2011 event was the 3rd Polyurethanex trade fair and featured exhibits on various composite technologies and materials used in different industries. The visitor profile included professionals related to: raw materials for polyurethane manufacturing, polyurethane production & processing technologies, foam-based thermo insulation, the chemical industry, the building industry, the mining industry & metallurgy.
