COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The North American Dispersions Business of Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. will feature new products for pressure sensitive and general purpose adhesive applications in Booths 402 and 404 at the Adhesive and Sealant Councils Spring Expo in Tampa, Fla., April 17-19.

Two of the new products - SYNTHEBOND 7201 LSE and SYNTHEBOND 7701 - were specifically developed for the pressure sensitive industry. SYNTHEBOND 7201 LSEs unique formula creates strong adhesion to low energy surfaces without the use of tackifiers. The exclusion of tackifiers allows the polymer to maintain its excellent optical clarity and color stability. Overall water resistance is also enhanced, allowing the polymer to maintain high adhesion after prolonged exposure in water or high humidity. SYNTHEBOND 7701 combines excellent blush resistance with a strong balance of peel and shear properties, making it ideal for applications requiring exceptional film clarity, such as cold beverage bottles and H&BA containers.

Both of these technologies can be sourced as polymers or formulated into a custom coater-ready formula. In addition, Momentive will be showcasing two new general purpose polymers, SYNTHEBOND E2075 and SYNTHEBOND E2024. Both are high solids polymers that offer strong chemical and plasticizer resistance, making them especially useful in harsh applications.

Momentive technical experts will be available in the booth to discuss custom services and formulations.
