This paper will provide an overview of how and where fluorosilicone liners are used along with an understanding of the characteristics and variables which are critical for building a functional product. This paper will discuss: fluorosilicone chemistry, silicone pressure sensitive adhesive chemistries, their potential interactions and effects on release. Determination of how and what release testing is required will help better define liner requirements and choices. Examples of various adhesive releases will be compared at room temperature and heat aged conditions
