Ashland will be exhibiting at the Coal-Gen conference (08/17/2011 - 08/19/2011, Booth No. 301, Greater Columbus Convention Center) in Columbus, Ohio. Coal-Gen is the industrys largest trade show for coal-fueled power plants. Show officials estimate that 4,500 industry professionals and more than 350 exhibitors will participate in the conference and expo.

Ashlands Derakane and Hetron epoxy vinyl ester resins will be showcased at the event. These industry-proven resins enable corrosion-resistant fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) applications including chemical processing, water treatment and pollution control, to power generation and mineral processing. Process vessels, tanks and scrubbers as well as piping, ducting and stack liners are just a few examples of corrosion-resistant products made of FRP for use in coal-fired utilities.
