Simrit has developed a particularly high-fluoro rubber (FKM) for use in synthetic gear oils (e.g. polyalcylenglycols/PAG). Simrit expands its range of high-performance materials with this Wear Resistant FKM. The Simrit material FKM 585 is and remains one of the highlights for the drive area. In combination with synthetic oils, however, this material has reached its limits. Now the Simrit experts are offering Wear-Resistant FKM as a pioneering material solution for this applications range.
Synthetic oils and mainly polyglycols as they are increasingly used in drive technology units today can be highly aggressive. At the same time, many manufacturers demand components that last for 20,000 operating hours. This task required new material solutions.
