Wickliffe, Ohio, U.S.A. -- The Lubrizol Corporation announces that the purchase of Merquinsa is now complete. The addition of Merquinsa, one of the leader in specialty thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) will expand Lubrizols Engineered Polymers business and strengthen its ability to meet the needs of its global customers. The transaction was announced recently.

With the close of the transaction, all of the Merquinsa products are being integrated into the Lubrizol Engineered Polymers business. Key Merquinsa global commercial brands include PEARLSTICK, PEARLTHANE, PEARLBOND , PEARLCOAT, as well as the full ECO line of renewable-sourced TPU products.
