AIMCAL Issues Call for Papers for Technical Conferences in Prague

The Association of International Metallizers, Coaters & Laminators (AIMCAL) has issued a Call for Papers for its two European technical conferences ? 2012 AIMCAL Europe Web Coating and 2012 AIMCAL Europe Web Handling. Scheduled consecutively, 11-13 June and 13-15 June 2012 at the Diplomat Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic, the meetings will be conducted in English.
Presentation proposals should be submitted by 17 February using the online Call for Papers Form at www.aimcal.org Presentations should be designed to appeal to an audience consisting of technology-oriented research and development, manufacturing and management personnel. Topics should relate to the processes of web coating and laminating, specialty web coating, vacuum web coating, coatings, substrates, web handling, winding, slitting and finishing.
A brief abstract and title is all that is required to submit a paper for consideration. Prospective presenters will be advised by 1 March 2012 if their proposal has been accepted. PowerPoint presentations and extended abstracts are due on 1 May 2012. Speaker guidelines are posted online at www.aimcal.org for review.
Attendees may register for either the AIMCAL Europe Web Coating Conference or the AIMCAL Europe Web Handling Conference or both. A discounted registration is available for individuals attending both events. Registration details and costs are available at www.aimcal.org.
The U.S. edition of the 2012 AIMCAL Web Coating and Web Handling Conferences will be held 21?26 October 2012 at the Marriott Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
