NuSil Launches MED-6219, an Optically Clear, High-durometer Elastomer

NuSil Technology LLC, a leading formulator and manufacturer of silicone compounds for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, announces the release of MED-6219, an optically clear, high-durometer elastomer.

MED-6219 is designed to cure at a wide range of temperatures to accommodate users needs. With low viscosity, it is a naturally flowable and self-leveling material.

Due to its transparent appearance, MED-6219 can be used for potting and encapsulating electronic devices or for making molded parts. Because it can be vulcanized at both high and low temperatures, this elastomer is particularly suitable for temperature-sensitive substrates or for use in environments with fluctuating temperatures.
