Huntsman to Hike Price of MDI and MDI-based Systems in Europe

Everberg, Belgium -- The Polyurethanes division of Huntsman Corporation (HUN:NYSE) will increase the price of all its MDI products and MDI-based systems by ?00 /tonne in the European region (Europe, Africa and Former Soviet Union) from April 1, 2012.

Nick Webster, Vice President, Europe for Polyurethanes, said: "This second price increase builds on the increase announced last December, and is necessary to address further raw material price escalation as well as to achieve long-term reinvestment economics" .
