Cytec to Hike VANCRYL Acrylic Resins Price in the Americas

Woodland Park, NJ -- Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) and its affiliated companies announced to its customers a selling price increase on its acrylate monomers, oligomers, and VANCRYL acrylic resins sold in North America and Latin America. Effective with shipments made on or after April 15th. 2012, or as contracts allow, Cytec will implement the following increases:

• Acrylate Monomers pricing will be increased by up to $0.21/lb.
• Epoxy Acrylate Oligomer pricing will be increased by up to $0.19/lb.
• All other Oligomers pricing will be increased by up to $0.17/lb.
• VANCRYLresins pricing will be increased by up to $0.09/lb.

Cytec is committed to servicing and delivering value to its customers, however this price increase is necessary to compensate for the increase in raw material costs.
