May 22, 2012 - Suited for encapsulating/sealing high-temperature thermocouples, Ceramabond(TM) 552 single-part, alumina-filled ceramic adhesive resists effects of acids, solvents, fuels, and molten metals. Water-based, environmentally safe material contains no VOCs and will adhere to ceramics and metals. Additional properties include coefficient of thermal expansion of 4.3 ppm/°F, volume resistivity of 108 Ohm-cm, dielectric strength of 250 V/mil, and tensile shear strength of 450 psi.
