Techsil to Launch Vitralit 70741F, Next Generation in UV-curing Adhesive at Mediplas

Birmingham, UK -- Techsil is showcasing its latest adhesive materials at Mediplas, 25th-26th September. The materials are designed for a wide range of medical applications from bonding medical devices, needle bonding, orthopaedic comfort to medical electronics.

At Mediplas Techsil is launching Vitralit 70741F from Panacol - the new generation in UV-curing adhesive - a perfect choice for metal to plastic bonding, e.g. needle to hub. Other product highlights include: Vitralit 1702 which exhibits excellent adhesion to plastics and is used in tube connectors, valves and filters; Vitralit 7989 which is flexible when cured and used in PC-containers, cover bonding and smear brushes; Structalit 701 a 2-part epoxy used in fibre-optics and endoscopes; Cynolit 732F a cynaoacrylate used for delicate bonding of coloured plastics including PVC, PMMA, ABS, EPDM and stainless steel.

In addition Techsil will be promoting FDA approved RTV silicones from Momentive Performance Materials RTV615 and RTV100 series are used in bonding and sealing of medical devices and as encapsulating resins for medical electronics. Also available are our soft silicones used for increased comfort in moulded orthopaedic liners and gels for wound care and scar management. And lastly, the company is also exhibiting state of the art UV-curing equipment from specialists Honle.
