UPM Raflatac announces the launch of a range of paper-faced products for shelf labeling applications that provide label converters and retailers with compelling, environmentally preferable alternatives to traditional vinyl products. Utilizing Latex Impregated and Jetlaser Translucent paper-based face materials, these new shelf marker and shelf talker labelstocks for the Americas market offer superior on-the-job performance for on-the-shelf product information and advertising.
Unlike traditional vinyl products, which are produced with nonrenewable petrochemicals, UPM Raflatacs Latex Impregnated and Jetlaser Translucent shelf marker and shelf talker labelstocks are largely composed of renewable wood fiber and can be variable information printed without a specialized top-coating, which boosts converter productivity. When paired with UPM Raflatacs RR22 adhesive, these labelstocks provide good initial tack and excellent removability throughout their usage cycles.
