Scapa Introduces Range of AFT, AFFT and TCT Tapes

Scapa, one of the leading manufacturers of bonding products and adhesive components worldwide, is proud to introduce a new range of Acrylic Foam Tape (AFT) Acrylic Foam Film Tape (AFFT) and Thermal Conductive Tape (TCT). These products have been developed to meet the exacting needs of OEMs across the industrial, electronics and automotive markets.

Scapas AFTs are high performance bonding products, designed to provide engineered solutions for a wide range of industrial manufacturing and assembly applications. They are ideal for replacing mechanical fasteners, spot welds and liquid adhesives in permanent applications where a very high strength bond is required on a broad spectrum of substrates including; metals, glass, plastics, wood, composite materials and painted surfaces.

Scapas AFFTs are high performance PET double sided acrylic foam film tapes. They are widely used in display, laptop, mobile phone and camera applications. These thin, high strength products give excellent long term adhesion to metals and a variety of engineered plastics. They assist in vibration damping and impact resistance and have superior dimensional stability / die cuttability due to the PET core.

Scapas TCTs consist of thermal conductive acrylic foam tapes and acrylic foam film tapes. TCTs provide a preferential heat transfer path between heat generating components and cooling devices found within LED TVs, laptops, and tablet PCs.
