ChemPoint to Distribute DuPont Capstone Fluorosurfactants in US & Canada

Bellevue, WA-- ChemPoint and DuPont Fluoropolymer Solutions (DuPont) announced that ChemPoint has been selected as a preferred distributor for DuPont Capstone fluorosurfactants in the United States and Canada. ChemPoint will manage order placement and fulfillment, as well as technical assistance and support for Capstone fluorosurfactants.

DuPont Capstone fluorosurfactants are based on short-chain chemistry that cannot break down to perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) in the environment. They offer customers the same or better performance as their predecessors without a compromise in fluorine efficiency.

Capstone fluorosurfactants are used in a variety of materials such as paints and coatings, adhesives, waxes and polishes, and industrial cleaning products. Capstone fluorosurfactants enhance formulations by substantially reducing surface tension and by improving properties such as wetting and spreading, leveling, penetrating, foaming control, chemical stability and thermal stability.

Capstone fluorosurfactants meet the goals of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program.
