Nordson EFD at MD&M West: to Showcase its Range of Fluid Dispensing Systems for Medical Bonding, Sealing and more

Nordson EFD s technical experts will showcase a range of advanced fluid dispensing systems available for pharmaceutical and medical bonding, sealing, filling, and spray coating applications.

Demonstrations include Nordson EFD s PICO xMOD piezoelectric valve mounted on a DR 2304 4-axis robot performing hub and needle bonding. The 4-axis robot has ±360° rotational functionality and is specifically designed and configured for precise fluid placement and dispensing with EFD syringe barrels and valve systems. These dispensing robots offer the flexibility of working either as stand-alone systems or as key parts of an automated solution for all types of medical applications.

Additional demonstrations will compare Nordson EFD s extensive line of dispensing valves and dispensers used in the medical industry. Also on display will be examples of reagent dispensing, aseptic valve applications, medical tube coating, and automated jetting.
