Techsil at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics: Launched OverTEC 5FR to Seal Electronics and more

Techsil at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Industrial Exhibition, not only demonstrated OverTec - its new low cost, low pressure injection overmolding technology for encapsulation of delicate components, but also showcased Techsils new range of UV curing adhesives and UV light systems manufactured by Panacol & Honle, and highlighting Techsils extensive range of RTV silicone adhesives and sealants from Momentive.

Techsil launched OverTEC 5FR, its new low pressure molding system which seals and protects electrical and electronic components in a cost effective way through increased production and low cost tooling. Typically OverTEC can be used to overmold PCBs, make electric cable glands, provide strain relief on cables, protect sensors and to make electronic connectors for IP protection.

Techsil is in partnership with the Honle group as one of the leading suppliers of UV technology worldwide. Honles products are used in a wide range of manufacturing process in electronics, microelectronics, precision engineering, the optical industry and in the printing, automobile, aerospace and medical device sectors. Techsil can now offer UV equipment and systems, UV lamps, adhesives, dispensing units and UV measuring systems: Through the support of Honle, Techsil can now provide a unique product range which can be tailored to the individual needs of bespoke applications.

Techsil is distributing Panacols market leading range of UV curing adhesives which include structural adhesives, acrylic adhesives, epoxy and electrically conductive adhesives. Panacol adhesives can be used in a wide range of applications, including electronics, glass components, medical engineering, construction and optics. These high performance adhesives are used in high volume mass production applications, particularly for glob top applications for example.
