Taghleef Industries to Boost its 5-layer Capacity for Labels in Europe

San Giorgio di Nogaro (Italy) -- Taghleef Industries (Ti) a leading Bi-oriented Polypropylene Film producer, announce a major investment in its Hungarian manufacturing plant that will boost up its 5-layer capacity in Europe. Critical investments were made at Ti Kft in Hungary to upgrade a 8.2 mt BoPP line to 5-layers that will increase Ti Europe current 5-layer film capacity to a total of 60,000 t/y, positioning itself N°1 in Europe.

The line will be equipped with the most recent technologies for a superior quality of the film produced and for energy saving purposes. Energy savings are predicted to be in the range of 25%.

With this new capacity Ti will reinforce significantly its market position to serve the label (specifically IML) as well as the food packaging industries. The 5-layer film technical advantages will also be used for other specific non-food applications.
