Martinson-Nicholls Unveils Slip-Resistant Grit Tape for Indoor/Outdoor Use

Cleveland, Ohio -- Martinson-Nicholls has announced a new line of general purpose anti-slip grit tape to help prevent slips and falls in a variety of applications. The mineral abrasive grit surfaces provide traction in wet or dry environments indoors or outdoors, and is ideal for a variety of applications including stairs, decks, ramps, boats and trailers, and more.

The new tapes feature a mineral-coated, slip-resistant material adhered by a durable resin to a pressure-sensitive, adhesive backed film. The tapes may be applied to clean, dry flat surfaces, steps, stairways, entrances, ramps, ladders, lawn equipment, snowmobiles, scooters, construction machinery and vehicles. The easy-to-apply tape withstands indoor or outdoor conditions, heavy foot traffic, and even equipment such as pushcarts and dollies.

"With an active but aging population, were adding products like our Grit Tape to help prevent slips and falls," offered company president, Dan Ruminski. The Safety-Walk 600 tapes come in three standard colors in widths ranging from one to 48 inches, in standard rolls of 60 feet. The Master Stop version comes in 13 colors, including red/white or black/yellow striped versions, in widths from two to twelve inches, and standard rolls of 60 feet.

Martinson-Nicholls also offers these anti-slip materials in die-cut shapes, or hand-cut shapes for smaller jobs.
