Ashland to Increase Price of its Aquapas Redispersible Powders

WILMINGTON, Del. - Ashland Specialty Ingredients, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH) is increasing the price of its Aquapas redispersible powders globally. Aquapas redispersible powders are used in a wide variety of construction applications, including external insulating foam systems, construction and tile adhesives, plasters, mortars and grouts. The Aquapas redispersible powders price increase will be up to 7 percent. The increase is effective for shipments after May 1, 2014, or as contracts allow. This price increase is necessary to offset recent steep price escalations in raw materials.
