Over the past 25 years, H.B. Fuller has cultivated a strong and growing presence in the Andean Region’s adhesives market. This recently included the opening of a 20,770-square-meter production plant in Rionegro, Colombia. The Rionegro plant will increase production capacity for hot melt and water-based adhesive technologies used in the hygienic, packaging, corrugate, and assembly markets. The new plant will also house a technical laboratory for hygienic products, as well as administrative offices, labs, and receiving and dispatching facilities. The Rionegro plant is the latest in a series of new or upgraded H.B. Fuller facilities spanning China, India, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.  Speaking about the Rionegro plant, Traci Jensen, senior vice president Americas Region, noted, “Our capital investment is an acknowledgement of our confidence in the region. It will allow us to bring more value to our relationships and enhance our competitive position.”
