Sika Opens Production Facility for Admixtures & Mortar in North America

Sika’s position in the development and production of systems and products for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protecting has been strengthened by two key investments: A new production facility for admixtures has been opened in Denver, and the Sika site in the greater area of Atlanta has been expanded by a mortar plant.

The latest developments form part of Sika’s business expansion strategy, focusing on infrastructure and residential development projects, and bring Sika’s total number of manufacturing sites in the United States to 12.

Sika’s supply chain expansion is seeing accelerated growth, and the specific focus on the American refurbishment market is expected to increase the sales volume. With the inauguration of the highly automated mortars plant on the production site in Conyers, in the greater area of Atlanta, and the new concrete admixture plant in Denver, Sika is well placed to serve these markets.
