MBK Tape Solutions Develops FDA Direct Food Contact Tapes

Chatsworth, CA -- In today’s regulatory landscape, MBK Tape Solutions has addressed the need for FDA safety compliant pressure sensitive adhesives and coatings used when manufacturing, processing, packing, packaging, transporting or holding food, pharmaceutical and OTC products. Adding to our line of FDA Indirect Food Contact Tapes, MBK recently developed several new adhesive tapes for use in Direct Food Contact applications in conformance with FDA 21 CFR175.125 Pressure Sensitive Adhesive, 21 CFR177.1520 Polyethylene Film and other backings. These new FDA tape products are safe and effective while eliminating concerns over contamination and cleanup, ultimately improving productivity and reducing waste of materials.

Being a custom manufacturer and converter, MBK Tape Solutions develops products in accordance to a customer’s application requirements. MBK’s new FDA Direct Food Contact Tape products include Adhesive Transfer Tape, PTFE Coated Glass Cloth Tapes and Film Tapes. Products are available with permanent and removable adhesives in various thicknesses. Tapes can be self-wound or supplied with a liner on plastic or paper cores. MBK can die cut parts, slit rolls and print to specifications.
