UltraTape Unveils Latex-Free, Lead-Free Autoclave Sterilization Indicator Tapes

Wilsonville, OR -- UltraTape Industries, a division of Delphon and leading manufacturer of cleanroom tape and label products, announced its new latex-Free, lead-Free autoclave sterilization indicator tape (UT7156).

UltraTape’s latex-free, lead-free autoclave sterilization indicator tapes are free from latex to guard both healthcare workers and patients against allergic reactions associated with latex. They are also lead-free and do not require hazardous waste disposal. UltraTape’s sterilization indicator tapes provide immediate identification of processed items, while also serving as a closure to seal sterile instrument packs. The tape’s color change indicator strip turns dark to verify the sterilization process was completed. The tapes meet the American National Standards Institute, the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and ISO 11140-1:2005 standards for medical sterilization products. All UltraTape products are particle-free and residue-free and are suitable for use in critical environments.
