Mactac® Industrial Tapes has announced the addition of a new high-tack general-purpose double-coated tape, IB1122-60, to its top-performing MACbond® Rubber Tapes product line.

　　With a uniquely formulated, proprietary rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, IB1122-60 is designed for general-purpose industrial mounting and bonding applications that require high initial tack to a wide variety of substrates, such as corrugated cores and boxes, fabrics and textiles and hard-to-stick-to foam substrates. It can be used for:

　　-Foam bonding and gasketing

　　-Fabric bonding

　　-Flooring securement

　　-Laminating applications

　　-Lock and felt assembly

　　Unique Peel and Tack with Good Shear Strength

　　“IB1122-60 is a great all-in-one industrial tape to have on hand as it delivers exceptional performance for a wide number of applications,” says Janet Page, Senior Marketing Manager, Mactac Performance Adhesives. “The product’s adhesive has unique peel and tack and really good shear strength making it an ideal and versatile double-coated tape.”

　　The entire tape construction consists of a 0.5-mil polyester carrier that is coated on both sides with 2.1-mils of FB899 adhesive and is protected by a two-side silicone-coated, moisture-stable 60 white Super Calendared Kraft liner.

　　IB1122-60 features excellent handling and die cutting and has a 2-year shelf life.
