Morchem has launched Morchem PL 277 A + CF-746, fast curing and fast polyacrylic acid (PAA) decay solvent-free laminating adhesive. The adhesive is designed to cover the high demanding market of double barrier films like PETp/PE-evoh-PE or OPAp/PE-evoh-PE and PETp/Alu.
Adhesive offers Wettability Without Bubble Formation
Morchem PL 277 A + CF-746 was tested at Bobst Italia’s competence center using BOBST VISION D 850 and NOVA SX 550 laminating machines.
The duplex structure of PETp/PE-evoh-PE was successfully laminated at more than 350 m/min delivering excellent wettability and perfect optical appearance with no bubble formation at the given speed.
