Precision edgebanding for top-quality furniture
Jowat will demonstrate modern PUR technology for edgebanding offering safety, performance and efficiency. Jowatherm® PUR MR 608.90 combines highest bonding quality with modern occupational safety standards. Its thin, almost invisible premium glue lines enable a flawless, high-end finish on demanding furniture surfaces. One key advantage is its availability as an easy-to-process granulate, making Jowatherm® PUR MR 608.90 ideal for flexible production workflows.
At HOLZ-HANDWERK, Jowat will introduce a new product. Characterized by high yield, exceptional initial strength, and particularly easy and clean processing, Jowatherm® PUR 607.20 is a versatile PUR hot melt adhesive for small workshop environments as well as in industrial applications. “A true all-around solution,” summarizes Pia Strompen, product manager at Jowat.
New 1K SMP assembly adhesives
With the launch of a new product family based on silane-modified polymers, Jowat is expanding its range of assembly adhesives for woodworking shops and construction sites. The 1K SMP adhesives do not foam, are free from isocyanates and solvents, and offer an exceptionally broad range of applications.
The paste-like Jowat® 695.00 stands out for its versatility and colorless, transparent appearance - an important benefit when bondlines remain visible. With Jowat® 695.50, it adds a low-viscosity option to the range, which is available in a convenient squeeze bottle for quick use and can also be applied with a spatula or a roller. A crucial benefit: Jowat® 695.50 meets D4 classification in accordance with EN 204/205, and can therefore be used for applications requiring increased moisture resistance.
1K PUR systems for maximum durability
For applications requiring very high moisture or heat resistance, Jowat provides two powerful 1K PUR adhesives for assembly bonding: the well-established Jowapur® 685.16 and the newly developed Jowapur® 685.10. These paste-like products form a stable bead, do not drip, and adhere to a wide variety of materials, making them the preferred choice for demanding assembly operations in skilled trades and construction.
New application possibilities with PUR hot melt sticks
In partnership with STEINEL TOOLS GmbH, Jowat is introducing another innovation: PUR hot melt adhesives in convenient stick form. They combine the fast-setting speed of classic hot melt adhesives with the exceptional strength and resistance of PUR systems, opening up entirely new application possibilities in workshops and on construction sites.
At the same time, STEINEL will present a new generation of hot glue guns specifically designed for processing PUR hot melt adhesives. Jointly developed by STEINEL and Jowat, these devices have been completely redesigned and optimized to meet the unique requirements of this adhesive technology.
Comprehensive range of solutions for building elements
Jowat also supports the building elements industry with a comprehensive range of solutions. Whether for windows, doors, flooring, ceilings or insulation elements - the portfolio provides the right adhesive system for nearly every material combination and requirement.
At FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, Jowat will feature its flagship product, Jowatherm® PUR MR 604.90. This PUR hot melt adhesive for wrapping PVC or aluminum profiles is free from GHS hazard pictograms and approved in accordance with RAL GZ-716. When used in combination with the primer Jowat® 406.85, manufacturers can achieve state-of-the-art production processes. Specially developed for vacuum-based application technology, this primer is VOC-, NEP- and NOP-free (below detection limits) and supports efficient, future-ready manufacturing, independently of whether felt or vacuum application methods are used.
“This established dual-event format allows us again to address a wide range of topics in one week, which adds real value for customers and prospects. From assembly adhesives for the skilled trades to modern industrial adhesives for serial construction - the trade fair event in Nuremberg is always a fixture on our calendar,” says Ingo Horsthemke, vice president for global marketing.
