This silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive comprises at least: (A) (A1) an organopolysiloxane having a molecular chain end of which at least 25 mol% is blocked with a hydroxy group bonded to a silicon atom or a hydrolyzable group bonded to a silicon atom, and having at least an average of one alkenyl group in each molecule, or a mixture of (A2) an organopolysiloxane having a molecular chain end that is blocked with a hydroxy group bonded to a silicon atom or a hydrolyzable group bonded to a silicon atom, and (A3) an organopolysiloxane having a molecular chain end that is blocked with a triorganosiloxy group and having at least an average of one alkenyl group in each molecule; (B) an organopolysiloxane having, in each molecule, at least three hydrogen atoms bonded to a silicon atom; and (C) a catalyst for a hydrosilylation reaction. The silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive forms a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that exhibits little transfer to an adherend when rereleased.
