The invention discloses a method for preparing a heat-resistant modified water-based chloroprene rubber adhesive. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) preparing raw materials; (2) performing emulsion polymerization; and (3) preparing a finished product. The method is unique and simple; and an organic solvent is not contained in the preparation process, so that environmental protection and the health of production personnel are facilitated, and energy consumption in the production process is low. The invention also discloses application of the heat-resistant modified water-based chloroprene rubber for water-based spray adhesives or shoe adhesives. According to the method, chloroprene rubber adhesive liquid obtained by using a vinyl monomer modified grafting technology is resistant to high temperature of 120 DEG C, and has high definite elongation stress and tensile strength, high wear resistance, warping crack resistance, aging resistance, solvent resistance and mechanical properties. The heat-resistant modified water-based chloroprene rubber adhesive has high bonding strength on materials of various kinds of rubber, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), leather, artificial leather, sponge, foam and the like, is widely applied to the water-based spray adhesives or the shoe adhesive, and is particularly suitable for water-based spray adhesives of costly furniture materials and automotive trim materials.
